W2 MMR

2000
W2 MMR was the first car of 2000, and debuted as a long-haul car in Argentina, and from now on there's no easy identification from the numberplate who's car was this. Mäkinen drove her this time, and after bad tyre choices, the 3rd place was satisfying.

She made the long trip to New Zealand, and she was Mäkinen's car again. Between the two rallies she received some of the Evo 6.5 updates, but the mixture of old and new systems didn't go well, and after being out of the top six the whole rally, Tommi crashed into a concrete ditch, breaking the front crossmember and retiring.
It wasn't fun to drive her in NZ (Mitsubishi)
This was followed by a complete rebuild into a proper 6.5, and of course a trip down to Australia. After four days of tactics, dust and fast racing, Tommi won the event. However, the sweet champagne quickly turned sour, as the stewards found the Lancer's turbo illegal, so the crew was disqualified, meaning that Tommi lost any chance of finishing the season on the podium. Ouch.
What a shame the turbo wasn't within the rules... (Mitsubishi)
2001
Her first rally in 2001 was Acropolis Rally. Tommi was leading the championship, so he was sweeping the roads in front of the other teams, he lost a huge amount of time; 4th place was more than they could hope for after day one.
Rocks, heat, dust - in Greece, there's plenty of these "goods" (Internet)
Her very last rally was 2001 Rally Finland, now with Toni Gardemeister. Unfortunately, Toni couldn't get on well with the Lancer, which resulted in a huge crash - the car was totalled, but the crew was unhurt.

Whereabouts
She was badly crashed in Finland, and with only one event left for the Group A cars, most likely she wasn't repaired, but demolished instead.
